Why donate?

Your donation is helping parents cover medical expenses for children with special needs. It's our personal mission to make lives better, from a family who knows the financial challenges firsthand. Hoosier FWD is a non-profit foundation specifically designed to raise money for Indiana families facing financial hardships due to medical bills for children with special needs that do not quality for Medicaid or Financial Assistance.

Thanks to your donations, we have been able to help several families. For the second year, we were able to send 5 kids to a week long Sensory Skills Camp, we purchased an adaptive tricycle for a young boy and his family, plus so much more. During the COVID crisis, Hoosier FWD got even more creative with our donations. We’ve purchased equipment for nearly 100 kids at home: sensory toys, balance discs, items to develop fine motor skills.

But we’re not stopping there. Hoosier FWD has a bigger dream: raise enough money to create a special needs activity center on the south side of Indianapolis, where children can safely play together.

Typically, Hoosier FWD raises money with the annual Gage Classic (currently in its 6th year). We’re excited to finally launch a way to donate online.* Thank you for your ongoing support; we hope to continue paying it forward one family at a time.
